PHYSICAL AFFECTION: It will take time for him to accept it, unless you're Ellie then you kind of get a free pass.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: This is 80% of Joel's life at this point. He is more likely to engage physically if there is a threat to his person and those he cares about. However, Joel also can negotiate verbally.
ROMANCE/FLIRTING: I guess? It would have to be slow burn.
SEXUAL CONTENT: Yes, but why would anyone want to at this point? Also good luck convincing him.
PSYCHIC ABILITIES: He is not immune to psychic abilities. Any emotion or thoughts in his replies are considered to be fair game for a psychic to pick up on.
MAGIC/POWERS: Joel is human, so he has no real way of resisting or avoid magic or powers aside from the old fashioned way. Guns, running and cover.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Joel is a normal human, so he can suffer from injury, disease and death normally. He is also very used to patching himself up in any method that he has available. He might be suspicious of doctors given he killed the last few he met.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS: Joel is not easily triggered by offensive content given he lives in and through the zombie apocalypse. He can be gruff and cutting with his words, and he has seen and done a lot of terrible things to survive. He can be touchy about emotional triggers.

BACKTAGGING: Yes, I will backtag up to a point. Threads that are months old will likely have to be wrapped up, unless it's a PSL in which I will go for as long as the thread has steam. I don't find this as easy in games as plots change month per month and I like to have my character development chug along around the same rate.
FOURTH WALLING: I generally don't do fourth walling unless another character does so in canon. My view is that most of the characters I play will be disparaging about it anyway and unless there is solid proof given to them, they will likely disbelieve or brush off attempts to expose them to the truth. Joel is from Earth and he makes 2013 and older pop culture references.
THREADHOPPING: Network threads, by all means without a need for permission. Log threads I generally ask for permission in order to properly insert the other character in question in a timely and proper place (and so everyone is on the same page).
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS: Joel's canon comes with plenty of triggery material, and I will delve into it through his experiences. He does occasionally cuss. Otherwise, I find pictures more triggery than writing, so I'm pretty good to go with almost anything.
